BLAINE, Maine (WABI) - State Police say human remains have been discovered in Blaine.

Officials say a resident there reported finding them on Thursday.

We’re told the remains were taken to the Medical Examiner in Augusta for examination and positive identification.

Because the investigation is ongoing, State Police say no additional details will be released at this time.
