The east London community centre impacted by a transformer issue all weekend, will be back to normal Wednesday, city hall reported.
The East Lions community centre on Churchill Avenue will see full service return after voltage spikes in its transformer Friday at about 7 p.m. shut down use of the pool and impacted other systems.
“All aquatics programs at East Lions community centre will resume . . . Repairs to the pool’s infrastructure have been completed and the facility is fully operational,” stated a media release Tuesday from the city.
Regular programs at the pool and other activities are back on schedule.
On Tuesday, the city still had electricians working to do repairs after London Hydro staff replaced a transformer that was not working, said Allan Van Damme, vice-president engine
