The Lovedale Long Lunch will not run in 2026, with organisers using the year to rework the Hunter Valley staple ahead of a refreshed return from 2027 and beyond.
The decision draws a line under 31 years of one of the region’s most recognisable food and wine weekends.
“We are incredibly proud of the legacy of the Lovedale Long Lunch and grateful for the amazing support from our community, sponsors, and visitors over the past three decades,” Gartelmann Wines spokesman Matt Dillow said.
“While the event will not take place in 2026, we are excited about the opportunity to develop a new format that better meets the changing tastes and expectations of our audience.”
