Some of the Hunter Valley’s most iconic wineries are hitting pause on one of the region’s longest-running events.

After 31 years as a popular food and wine extravaganza, the Lovedale Long Lunch will not return in 2026.

Organisers believe the 12-month hiatus gives them time to reimagine and refresh the concept, with a new experience set to debut in 2027.

Lovedale Long Lunch has celebrated the region’s best culinary talent for three decades, bringing together the Hunter’s top chefs with six of Lovedale’s most renowned wineries.

Along the way, guests have enjoyed a progressive feast filled with fine wine, gourmet food and “live” entertainment, attracting thousands of visitors annually.
