EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Evansville Thunderbolts are gearing up for Military Appreciation Night this Friday as they face off against the Huntsville Havoc.

Over the past weekend, the Thunderbolts secured victories over the Peoria Rivermen, winning 2-1 on Friday and 4-1 on Saturday. Key players included Jordan Simoneau and Connor Federkow on Friday, with Connor Tait, Matthew Hobbs, Aidan Litke, and Simoneau scoring on Saturday. The team's defense was strong, allowing only 23 and 24 shots in the respective games.

Military Appreciation Night, presented by National Vet Help, will take place on Friday, November 7th, with puck drop at 7:00 p.m.
