SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - Authorities arrested two Madison men in Georgia in connection to a shooting last month in Sun Prairie, police reported on Tuesday.
On October 17, Tradell Morrison, 17, and Jeremiah Smith, 20, were arrested by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia for warrants by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Officials said they were both extradited to Wisconsin on October 28 and taken to Dane County Jail.
On Tuesday, SPPD referred more charges to the Dane County District Attorney’s Office in connection the shooting.
Both suspects are facing the following charges:
attempted first degree intentional homicide- two counts
recklessly endangering safety- two counts
felon in possession of a firearm
