LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln teen was arrested following a stabbing on Halloween.

Around 12:45 p.m. Monday, officers found the 17-year-old at Lincoln Northeast High School.

He was taken to the Youth Services Center on suspicion of first-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

LPD said the teen was involved in the altercation on Halloween night, where he used a knife to cut and stab two male victims, ages 17 and 15.

The stabbing happened during a large party in the area of 40th Street and Prescott Avenue.

The suspect and the 17-year-old victim started fighting, and the victim was stabbed multiple times, according to LPD.

Lpd said the victim has serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The 15-year-old victim was cut and was treated at the hospital.
