NORTH VERSAILLES TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

One student was taken to the hospital after school officials said unidentified edible gummies were found at a local western Pennsylvania school on Tuesday.

The East Allegheny School District said administrators learned that a student had "unidentified edible gummies" at Logan Elementary School and that multiple students had ingested them. Advertisement

School officials said one student became sick and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Upon learning of the situation, school administrators immediately notified local authorities and the students' parents.
