Los Angeles firefighters on Tuesday worked to rescue a woman who was trapped more than 150 feet down a steep slope in a rock quarry near Pacoima.
The emergency call was made around 11 a.m., to report that a woman was stuck down in the quarry located on the 12500 block of West Bradford Street.
Details from the Los Angeles Fire Department were sparse, but officials said they were working in unified command with the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman was believed to be around 40 years old, and her condition was not immediately clear.
