TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Pima County Republican Party claimed that poll watchers from both parties were not allowed into polling locations in the county on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Pima County GOP Chairman Kathleen Winn sent a letter to Pima County Recorder Gabriella Cázares-Kelly about the incident, and asked for a response by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The specific legal authority relied on to deny access to duly credentialed party observers under A.R.S. § 16-515(B);

Any countywide guidance or directives issued to polling-place inspectors or election workers concerning observer credentials, limits, or conduct for this election

The immediate corrective steps your office will take to ensure lawful
