SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Veterans Day is on Monday, Nov. 11, and multiple events are taking place in Santa Rosa County to commemorate the holiday.

In Milton, a parade and ceremony will be taking place beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The parade will start at Milton High School and end at Veterans Memorial Plaza, where the ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m.

After the ceremony, Santa Rosa County 4-H and Walmart are hosting a cookout for veterans and their families from noon to 1 p.m.

Happening at 11 a.m. in Navarre, a ceremony will be held at Navarre Park.

At the same time, a ceremony will be held at VFW Post 4407 in Gulf Breeze.
