Pinjarra’s Sir Ross McLarty Sports Precinct will see more upgrades this year with AE Hoskins Building Services signed on to complete the sports pavilion.

The project will replace the George Beacham Pavilion to provide gender neutral changerooms, toilets and shower facilities.

Since 2021, the shire has delivered staged improvements to the precinct under its Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Plan.

In 2024, the $3.8 million Lovegrove Sports Pavilion opened, providing a modern clubhouse, an expanded oval, and upgraded parking.

Last year also saw upgrades to the main oval with lighting changed to LED for more energy efficiency and lower maintenance.
