BALL, La. (KALB) - The first season under Dan Christman at Tioga has been a massive success, and this Friday, the Indians have a chance for their first District Title since 2020.
“I’m very confident that they will play as hard as they can,” Christman said on the mentality this week. “They’ve done that from Week 1 on, they’ve played extremely hard.”
The Indians hit the road to face Franklin Parish, who also remains undefeated in district play. The Patriots defeated Tioga 64-48 last November.
“In years past, only district champions used to get into the playoffs and maybe one or two teams after that,” Christman said. “But now with the new system, it’s all about power ratings and power points and seedings for the playoffs.
