WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Three Wichita City Council seats are up for grabs in this year's election.

In District 1, Wichita City Council member Brandon Johnson's seat is up due to term limits.

Two candidates, LaWanda DeShazer and Joseph Shepard, are vying for that seat.

For District 3, incumbent Mike Hoheisel faces Genevieve Howerton.

Finally, in District 6, incumbent Maggie Ballard faces two challengers, Brett Anderson and Margaret Shabazz.
