SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Concho Valley residents cast their ballots on several local propositions and candidate races during the Nov. 4 special election, shaping the future of the region with each vote.

Several propositions and races made it onto ballots in Tom Green County, Schleicher County, Reagan County, McCulloch County, Kimble County and Runnels County.

Among the propositions voted on was a maintenance and operations tax rate increase for Wall ISD. If the proposition passes, an ad valorem tax rate of $0.7703 per $100 valuation would be ratified for the district for the current year, resulting in a 12% increase
