LANSING — Polls have closed across the Lansing area and in most of Michigan for the Nov. 4 general election.

LSJ.com will be posting results throughout the night as we learn results from some important, high-interest races.

Here’s what we’re watching:

In Lansing , there are races for mayor , where Andy Schor is hoping for a third term in a race with Kelsea Hector; four city council seats; and a new charter for the city.

In East Lansing, voters are selecting two council members and weighing in on whether they want to amend the city charter to allow for an extra 2 mills to maintain parks-
