TOWN OF LISBON, N.Y. (WWTI) - A 33-year-old Amish woman who was seven months pregnant has died after being kicked in the head by a horse last week in St. Lawrence County.
According to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, authorities responded last Wednesday to 4214 State Highway 68 in the town of Lisbon.
Police identified the victim as Beverly Glick, who was milking a cow, according to sheriff's deputies.
Two horses allegedly started fighting and kicked Glick in the back of the head.
Emergency personnel transported Glick and her unborn child to the hospital. However, both were pronounced dead.
