WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Warren/Hamilton Counties Office for the Aging is expanding its senior meal program as delays to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits continue during the federal government shutdown.

Nearly three million New Yorkers rely on SNAP every month, most of whom are older adults, disabled or children.

Warren/Hamilton Counties OFA said congregate meal sites for people over the age of 60 are open Monday-Friday. They are located in Bolton, Indian Lake, Johnsburg, Lake Luzerne, Long Lake, Queensbury-Cedars, Solomon Heights, Warrensburg, and Wells. Visit the OFA website to find site times and contact information.
