MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) – Voters in Meigs County on Tuesday rejected a tax levy for the Meigs Local School District.
According to unofficial returns, it failed by a 1,010-to-774 vote.
A school superintendent told us the funding would have helped keep facilities safe and up to date.
The measure was for a five-year, 1.5 mill levy.
