BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Plans are in the works for an indoor sports facility at Barboursville Park.

Barboursville Mayor Chris Tatum said the village is now moving into phase two of improvements at the park. The first phase included turf fields and press boxes.

The mayor said this will be a multi-use facility where the courts can be used for different sporting events.

Currently, Tatum said they’re just getting started with the design of the facility.

He said, once the design phase is over, they look to break ground on the project. We’ll let you know when that happens.
