TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) --Four local charities received a financial contribution this evening from an annual event.

Bringing Back The Bash is a family friendly annual event that happens every summer in Terre Haute where people drive up and down Wabash like many use to do years ago.

The Terre Haute Humane Society, Team of Mercy, Reach Services and Happiness Bag all received a thousand dollars each.

The event was started by Sonny Rooney back in 2022 with 100% of t-shirt sales and sponsorships all going to charities.

Jodi Moan of Happiness Gag says the event is more then financial help.
