CARSON, Iowa —
During the government shutdown, there's been countless efforts to help families struggling to keep food on the table. One Iowa restaurant is taking a unique approach to giving back.
The Barn N Grill is doing its part to make sure the community stays fed by launching a “Meal Wall,” where customers can buy any menu item of their choice to ensure that all of their neighbors have a next meal.

When Matt Bowen and Jennifer Holtz grabbed a bite Tuesday night, they thought of more than just themselves.
“We thought we’d come up here, have dinner, and donate one of the meals,” said Bowen.
