A handful of seats were up for grabs in Tiffin's 2025 city election, highlighted by an a trio of incumbents and a newcomer.
Tim Orris earned 304 votes (28.8%) and was the top vote-getter. Tony Johnson had 246 votes (23.3%) and Eric Schnedler received 288 votes (27.27%), according to unofficial results from the Johnson County Auditor's Office.
Tim Kasparek will serve a second term after prevailing in an unopposed race. He received 399 votes (97.3%).
Incumbent Al Havens recieved 203 votes (19.2%) falling short of reelection by just 43 votes.
Kasparek leaned on his skills as a business developer and his ability to build relationships to secure the mayoral seat during the 2023 election. He beat the then 12-year incumbent Mayor Steve Berner .
