EXETER – When Sabrina Rivers took over as head coach the Oyster River High School girls soccer team four years ago it was a rebuild that included seven freshman starters.
Those building blocks blossomed into a squad that featured 14 seniors heading into Tuesday’s Division II semifinal against Bow, but, unfortunately, that is where it ended for the Bobcats.
Jaeden Kennedy’s goal 15 minutes into the second half was enough to lift third-seeded Bow to a 1-0 victory over No. 2 Oyster River at Exeter High School’s William Ball Stadium.
