WARREN – Margaret Kwapisz was temporarily in a bad mood Monday night. And for good reason.
So the veteran St. Clair Shores Lake Shore girls volleyball coach pulled her team down to the corner of the Warren Mott gymnasium and asked some simple questions.
Her Shorians more than responded. After going down 2-0 to Roseville, Lake Shore won the final three sets to earn the 3-2 victory in a Division 1 pre-district match win over the Panthers at Warren Mott.
Lake Shore dropped the first two sets 25-17 and 25-23 to allow Kwapisz some time to right the ship. The Shorians responded with three straight set wins of 25-17, 25-13 and 16-14 in the final three games to earn the victory and keep their season alive.
