Police: Dog reportedly found in trash bag dies at Las Vegas Valley animal hospital

LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Police said an abandoned dog reportedly found in a trash bag has died at a Las Vegas Valley animal hospital.

The Henderson Police Department sent details to FOX5 Tuesday night. Police said they became aware of a social media post regarding an abandoned dog reportedly found in a trash bag near cross streets Via da Vinci and Via Firenze.

HPD said the dog was taken to an animal hospital where it died.

“The investigation is in its early stages,” police said. “No further details are available at this time.”
