Early returns in Loveland’s Ward 3 council race put Caitlin Wyrick in a commanding position Tuesday night, while the fight for second place remained tight.
Two seats are up for grabs in Loveland’s central ward. The top vote-getter will serve a full four-year term and the second-place finisher will fill the two years remaining in former councilor Erin Black’s term.
As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, Wyrick led the four-person field with 28.6% of the vote, followed by Kalina Middleton (24.4%) and Chris Say (24.0%), with John Fogle trailing at 22.9%.
“I’m optimistic,” Wyrick said after the first round of results was posted. “I’m looking forward to continuing to serve.”
