A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 2:18 a.m. valid from 7 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Western Montgomery as well as Berks, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

The weather service comments, "West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
