New Delhi, Nov 05: India’s Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, has invited Romanian firms to engage in India’s thriving manufacturing and innovation sectors through the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Production-Linked Incentive’ (PLI) schemes.

The invitation was made at the India-Romania Business Forum held in Brașov, focusing on enhancing bilateral investment and cooperation across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy. The forum resulted in the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to foster joint ventures and technology partnerships.

Furthermore, discussions with Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Oana-Silvia Țoiu emphasized expanding trade and investment, aiming for the conclusion of a fair India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) this year. Indi
