WESTFIELD – It took Boston Collegiate Charter School close to 99 minutes to travel to Roots Athletic Center in the Whip City to take on St. Mary’s in a high school girls soccer tournament game, but the Hurricanes needed just 74 seconds to score their first goal of the game.
No. 19 Boston Collegiate Charter scored two goals – one in each half – to defeat the No. 14 St. Mary’s Saints 2-0 in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division-V Girls Soccer Round of 32 tournament game Tuesday at Roots.
