OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person is in the hospital after a shooting in North Omaha on Tuesday night.

Omaha police officers responded to the shooting near 31st and Parker streets just after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Police dispatch tells First Alert 6 the victim’s injuries are considered to be serious.

OPD officers on the scene tell us a woman ran inside a home after she was shot. The shooting appears to have happened outside, and the suspect is not yet located, police say.
