Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District inspectors found beer cans stored in an ice bin at a restaurant that doesn't serve alcohol, spiderwebs above tea machines and other health violations at restaurants in October.

Out of more than 245 businesses inspected, 13 scored below a 90, and 83 received perfect scores. In October, Taqueria Jalisco No. 2 on Horne Road scored the lowest with a 76.

The health district describes a food establishment as a place that sells or serves food to the public, which can include bars, hotels, apartments, schools and food trucks. These establishments must get an annual permit and be inspected by the health district.
