Premium Bonds holders are being urged to check their numbers for the November draw. Thousands of people won big cash prizes in the latest draw, which takes place at the start of each calendar month.

Prizes range from £25 up to the £1million jackpot, and there are always two jackpot prizes in each draw. The first £1million prize in the November draw went to a person from the York region, within winning Bond 568FY679677.

They purchased their Bond in February 2024, when they bought £12,000 worth. They held the maximum £50,000 in Bonds going into this month's draw.

The other jackpot amount went to a person from Shropshire, with lucky Bond number 258GE105589. They also held the maximum holding of £50,000 worth, and they bought their winning Bond in October 2015, when they invested in £30,000
