New Delhi: India have not included their record-scorer Sunil Chhetri in probables list for an AFC Asian Cup qualifier away in Bangladesh on November 18.
The 41-year-old was part of the squad in their 2-1 home loss to Singapore on October 14 that eliminated them from remaining in the race to qualify for the continental event.
Scorer of 95 international goals in 157 caps, Chhetri came out of retirement in March as India faced Bangladesh, Singapore and Hong Kong in their the Asian Cup qualifying group.
But the former captain couldn’t score in any of the four group matches as India lost two and drew two to be at the bottom of the standings.
On Wednesday, Chhetri’s name was absent from India coach Khalid Jamil’s 23-man probables list.
