Permits with a collective approximate value of $51 million have been issued related to construction of Belle Meade Village.

Relatedly, the Post has observed that construction equipment is now located on the site.

Nashville-based AJ Capital Partners said in mid-October (read here ) it plans to break ground this quarter on the mixed-use development, to be located on the city's west side near the Harding Pike and White Bridge Road intersection.

Now the AJ Capital website notes excavation and blasting will begin this month. In addition, Chicago-based Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture is handling design, with the local office of Birmingham-based Brasfield & Gorrie to serve as construction manager.
