Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath found himself at the receiving end of the internet for saying that, in his opinion, a 25-year-old pursuing an MBA must be “some kind of an idiot”. The remark has not gone down well with many users on social media.
Kamath made the comments during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session recorded to mark Zerodha’s 15th anniversary, where he appeared alongside his brother and co-founder Nithin Kamath, and other senior officials of the firm.
While responding to a question about the future of content and education in India, Kamath said his podcast What The Finance (WTF) was an attempt to encourage more people to become entrepreneurs.
