A killer caught on CCTV brutally murdering a man in broad daylight has been jailed for at least 18 years. ‌

William Lewis, 57, stabbed William Copeland to death moments after the men appeared to embrace each other. ‌

The thug then turned the knife on the 36-year-old's wheelchair bound father Thomas, 59, during the attack in Hamilton on October 21, 2024. ‌

Lewis was today, Wednesday, November 5, sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow .

He had admitted to charges of murder and attempted murder at a hearing in July.

Lord Colbeck jailed Lewis for life and cut the minimum term from 21 years due to the guilty plea. ‌
