KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A traffic stop led to an arrest for marijuana dealing in Knox County.

Authorities said a deputy pulled over the vehicle on Tuesday for speeding 85 mph in a 60 mph zone. The driver was asked for her driver's license and registration.

The deputy said they detected a strong odor of raw marijuana, and the passenger, 23-year-old Reshawn Hall, admitted to having marijuana in his pocket.

According to the sheriff's office, a search of the vehicle revealed two vacuum-sealed bags containing marijuana in a backpack on the back floorboard. They say Hall claimed ownership of the backpack.
