Evansville police are investigating a shooting that happened early this morning.

Dispatch says the call came in at about 1:30 am, sending officers to the 1700 block of Culverson Avenue for a shots-fired run.

Arriving officers found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Authorities say the man was grazed on his face and arm by a bullet.

No arrests have been made, and no motive was discussed.
