CHARLESTON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace announced she plans to take legal action against American Airlines and the Charleston International Airport for defamation.
On Oct. 30, Mace was accused of berating police and TSA at the airport. An incident report said while she was being escorted, Mace talked loudly using profanity.
Mace now claims that the reports were fabricated and constitute defamation per se, violations of her civil rights, and tortious interference in her campaign for Governor.
The congresswoman retained legal counsel and will be represented by Larry Klayman.
