KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A man in Knox County is in custody after deputies found two large bags of marijuana in the floorboard of their vehicle.

Deputies found the illegal drugs during a traffic stop on a 2016 Chevy Cruze, which was traveling 25 miles over the posted speed limit.

While speaking with the passengers inside the vehicle, Knox County Sheriff's deputies said they smelled a "strong odor of raw marijuana."

The front seat passenger, 23-year-old Reshawn Hall, told deputies he had some marijuana in his pocket, according to the sheriff's office.

A search of the vehicle was then conducted. During the search, the sheriff's office said, "two vacuum-sealed bags containing a green leafy substance" were found in back backpack, stored in the floorboard of the vehicle.
