TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Terre Haute City Council held their weekly public meeting, and Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun was there to discuss warming centers in Terre Haute. Mayor Sakbun approached the council to bring to them a new plan for the warming centers in Terre Haute.
This plan would help address the number of spaces available at warming centers during the winter months. It would involve funds from both the city and county, matching each other to help increase funding.
The Terre Haute City Council was in favor of the plan presented.
