Agartala, 5 th November 2025: Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma today said that the welfare and future of the indigenous people must take precedence over political loyalties or personal ambitions.
Speaking to reporters after arriving in Tripura, Pradyot launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led state government for delaying the implementation of the Tiprasa Accord and postponing the long-overdue Village Committee (VC) elections.
Highlighting the need for unity among the indigenous communities of the North East, he said, “For years, the Tiprasa, Nagas, and Mizos have been raising the same issues separately. But we have never spoken together as one voice in Delhi. Now, the Tiprasa are not alone — the Nagas, Mizos, Arunachalis, Manipuris, and Dimasas stand with us.
