In a shocking development, 31-year-old Samuel Zao, a resident of Old Ministers’ Hill in Kohima, has confessed to killing his 22-year-old niece, Vihozhonu Zao, a budding basketball player of Nagaland, in a fit of rage as she dismissed his request for a cup of tea and appeared to be busy on the mobile phone instead.

Briefing the media in Kohima today, Superintendent of Police (SP) Krodi Rhetso said, “as per the confession of Samuel asked Vihozhonu to make tea around 2 p.m. on October 24.
