Nuneaton Town FC has issued a statement on its 'preferred' location for a new ground. CoventryLive reported that a borough council paper has revealed that the club have found a place where they'd like to build a new ground.
According to the paper, the club's 'preferred option' would be Vale View recreation ground in Nuneaton . It is asking the council to look into a possible 49-year lease on the site.
The council paper explains that the club, which currently has to play its home games at The Oval in Bedworth, has looked at sites in Tomkinson Road, Vernons Lane, the Pingles Avenue Road pitches and Paul’s Land but said that 'NTFC has stated that Vale View is its preferred site.'
This would enable the club to then be able to access funding to get the ground plan off the ground. The club
