A Cleveland Police officer is to face a misconduct hearing after attacking a woman. DC 1063 Philip Lamb will be subject of an Accelerated Misconduct Hearing on Friday, November 7.

The 47-year-old faces one allegation of breaching the standards of professional behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct. The breaches were "so serious they amount to gross misconduct", says a notice on the Cleveland Police website.

The public notice outlines the allegation against the officer: “On the 14th September 2025, DC Lamb was convicted at Teesside Crown Court of the offence of assault by beating and received a 12 months community order with 50 unpaid work and 27 hours rehabilitation and £500 costs to be paid over six months.”
