CHARITON COUNTY, Mo - The Chariton County Route PP Chariton River Overflow Bridge is set to be replaced.
Crews are set to close the bridge near Salisbury on Monday, November 17th. Route PP is currently closed for the replacement of the Mid Fork Chariton River Bridge to the east. It will reopen to traffic in March following the completion for the Chariton River Overflow Bridge project.
The bridge was built in 1959 and has a traffic volume of approximately 426 vehicles per day. The project is part of the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
