Two North Dakota ag groups plan to merge.

The North Dakota Agricultural Association and the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association have announced an intention to merge. The proposed merger will be presented for a vote at each organization’s respective annual meeting — NDAA in December 2025 and NDGDA in January 2026 — with a new name being adopted if the merger vote passes.

NDAA represents the commercial ag retail industry, with its website saying its membership "consists of agri-business firms engaged in manufacturing, distribution and wholesaling as well as individuals providing services farm supply dealers, and retailers of crop production inputs and services."
