Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville will cease operations at the end of the year, the agency announced Wednesday.
In a statement, the agency said it “will wind down operations and will conclude all programs and services effective Dec. 31, 2025.

“This decision follows careful consideration by the board of directors and leadership team, guided by our commitment to responsible stewardship and community transparency.”
The decision brings to an end 48 years of operation, serving children, youth, and families across the region, “creating life-changing mentoring relationships and helping young people realize their potential,” they added.
The agency thanked its volunteers, donors, community partners, and local leaders for their work and support over the years.
