OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI -- Charlie Sullivan, a firefighter with Oshtemo Township was the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash on Wednesday, Nov. 5 in Kalamazoo.
The township confirmed Sullivan was killed in the crash, which happened shortly after midnight.
“Charlie was a valued member of our fire department family and a dedicated public servant who served the residents of Oshtemo Township with pride and compassion,” said Gregory McComb, the township’s fire chief.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers found Sullivan unresponsive at the scene of a crash in the 2400 block of Parkview Avenue around 12:09 a.m. Sullivan was pronounced dead at the scene after life-saving measures were attempted.
